You pay for each Cloud Server (virtual instance) by the hour. For your convenience, the monthly totals are also listed.

Note: SQL Server images available on 2GB and higher Cloud Servers. For 2GB - 15GB server sizes, add 72¢/hour for SQL Standard Edition or add 6¢/hour for SQL Web Edition.For 30GB server size, add $1.08/hour for SQL Standard Edition and 9¢/hour for SQL Web Edition.

* Estimated monthly based on 730 hours of service.

** In addition to the hourly service fee of 12¢/hour per server, a $100 flat, monthly account fee will be assessed when at least one server on the account is active. The account fee is not reflected in the above pricing as it is not a per server charge but an overall account fee no matter how many servers are active on the account.

*** If you choose Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), the licensing fee is not included in the above pricing. In addition to the hourly charge, a $20 flat, monthly fee will be charged per server calculated based on the maximum number of RHEL Cloud Servers active at any point in time during the billing cycle. These fees will not be prorated based on usage.

Pricing for Cloud Servers™ Images

With Cloud Servers, you can create an image of any cloud server containing less than 80GB of data—and you can use this image to restore a server or clone a new one. You can create an unlimited number of images on-demand, or you can schedule an automatic daily or weekly image.

Images will be compressed and stored on Rackspace Cloud Files at $0.15/GB per month. If you delete a cloud server, the associated image stored in Cloud Files will persist in your account unless the image is explicitly removed.
