Self-Service Migrations

$5 per mailbox

With the MigrationWiz Tool, you can look forward to a smooth transition with no loss of important messages. Start your migration with a few clicks in the Control Panel. If you need help, you can count on dedicated migration experts to help you along the way.

MigrationWiz Tool:

• Works for email migrations to Rackspace Email and Microsoft Exchange
• Can be initiated from the Control Panel and supervised from the MigrationWiz Portal
• Moves email and folders for Rackspace Email (does not include calendar, tasks, contacts, or notes)
• Displays progress during the migration

Self-Service Migrations Are Ideal for:

• Companies with too many employees to efficiently undertake a manual migration
• Admins uncomfortable with the manual migration process
• Customers wanting to maintain maximum control over their migration
• Resellers needing the ability to perform migrations for their customers
• Customers who need to move their email and folder structure only

How It Works:

• Log into the Control Panel
• Gain access to the MigrationWiz tool
• Set up your migration and associated mailboxes
• Test your configuration and verify migration
• Review migration summary report after migration is complete

Supported Migrations

$10 per mailbox

Our Migrations Team has performed thousands of successful migrations. Supported migrations are monitored from start to finish by a migrations expert. With this option, you can populate your new Rackspace mailboxes with minimal effort and no worries about losing important messages.

Supported Migrations:

• Include expert monitoring, support, and error reporting
• Are priced based on your current email environment
• Offer split domain routing to stagger mailbox migration over a specified period
• Can be scheduled within 2 business days of a successful test

• Companies looking to populate new mailboxes without draining internal resources
• IT departments looking to offload the burden of migrating email data
• Organizations needing to move a massive amount of data quickly and reliably

How It Works:

• View and approve estimate and migration plan/dates
• Test out your mailboxes post-migration

Please Note:

• All data migrations require a test migration to ensure a successful connection can be made to the external mail server. There is no fee for the test migration.
• The pricing is for all mailboxes on a domain. Multiple domains can be combined if they are migrated from the same external mail server. Migrations from multiple mail servers are each treated as independent migrations.
• Expedited migrations are possible to resolve email emergencies provided there is proper access to the current remote mail system. Additional fees may apply. Contact a sales representative to discuss your specific needs and get a quote.
