Rackspace Cloud Backup - Backup Information

Getting Started with Rackspace Cloud Backup - Part 3

How to View Backup Information

The previous article explained how to create a backup. After your backup is set up, you might want to confirm its settings, ensure that a clean up or restore action finished properly, or even manually start a job before it's scheduled. Or, you might want to quickly view all of your backup activity at once. This page describes how to perform these activities.

You can view either a single backup's activities or all activities for all backups.

View a Single Backup's Information

In the Cloud Control Panel, click Backups > Backups in the top navigation bar.

The list of all the backup processes that you currently have on your account is displayed.

Find a Backup

  • The list of backups has three columns: Backup Name, Server, and Time for Next Backup. You can sort each column by clicking its title.
  • If you have a long list of backups, you can search for the one you want in the Search field.

  • Limit Single Backup Activity by Search

If you have a long list of activities, you may limit your list by doing a search. Enter your search term in the box marked Search x activities, where x is the number of activities you have.
