With nearly 25 years of experience, Michael has held information technology positions in a number of
industries. In 2004, he accepted a role as a Network Engineer for Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) which
would change the course of his career. Having trained as an Emergency Medical Technician in college,
and being married to a Pharmacist, he always had an interest in, and was surrounded by, healthcare.
Michael now saw healthcare IT as the perfect intersection of his skills and passion. Over the next 6 ½
years, Michael held numerous positions at CCHC including Senior Systems Engineer and Manager of
Network Services. In 2011, Michael joined Hewlett Packard (later became Hewlett Packard Enterprise) as
a Healthcare Solution Architect and spent many years working with healthcare customers and ISV’s
(MEDITECH, Philips, etc). He concluded his time, at HPE, as the Lead Account Technologist for Philips
Healthcare. In 2021, Michael joined Dell Technologies as an evangelist for our APEX (as a Service) and
Multi-Cloud offerings in Healthcare. Michael enjoys collaborating with healthcare customers, and
partners, to enable solutions that empower healthcare organizations to deliver the highest quality care
possible which ultimately improves quality of lives for both patients and those that serve them.
Michael has been married for over 20 years to his wonderful wife (Kate), has two college age children
(Gabrielle and Jack), and an indoor pet rabbit named Brian. In his spare time Michael enjoys his amateur
work in the field of audio engineering, loves music and travel, and is currently learning Portuguese as a
second language. He serves on the advisory board for the Information Technology program at Cape Cod
Regional Technical High School and volunteers locally in both an audio engineering, and information
technology, capacity.
Michael holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston
University, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix,
and a number of industry certifications.
