SOC-certified security, availability and privacy controls

To help guide you toward reputable IT service providers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has established the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE). Businesses that achieve SSAE certification have undergone a thorough audit of their controls — including security, availability and privacy controls — and have demonstrated compliance with the SSAE standards.
