Rackspace Technology makes RippleMatch's 'Next Gen 100" list of top organizations building standout workplaces for the next generation of talent.
It’s no secret that one of Rackspace Technology’s company priorities is to build a thriving culture that attracts, grows, and retains top talent from around the world. And we couldn’t be more excited to share that we’ve made “The Next Gen 100” list of top workplaces for the next generation of talent.
The list, presented by RippleMatch, is comprised of 100 organizations that are committed to building standout workplaces for Generation Z and features a distinguished list of top-scoring applicants like DELL, AT&T, and CrowdStrike.
For an organization to make the list, they must go through an extensive application and scoring system intended to measure how a workplace empowers its employees to thrive professionally and personally. Some of the benchmarks for measuring a company’s success include evaluating how they invest in their employees through Company Culture & Wellbeing; Financial Security & Benefits; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; and Learning & Development.
“We’re continually improving our dynamic company culture through focused investments in the whole Racker,” said PJ Lovejoy, manager of the Racker Experience team. “Through programs like Rack Gives Back and our Racker Resource Groups, Rackers can find places to connect with one another and give back to their communities. Wellness challenges like Walktober encourage Rackers to keep health top of mind. And we are committed to developing our Expertise through opportunities like our Technical Onboarding Program, which takes Rackers through 90 days of full-time learning to build the skills required to succeed in high-growth areas of our industry.”
And it’s not just tenured Rackers who experience the “whole Racker” focus a career at Rackspace Technology provides. Attracting and retaining the next generation of talent also includes cultivating new careers through internships that enable recent college graduates like Meagan Fleming, former Marketing Intern recently hired on as a full-time Social Media Specialist, to work within our culture while learning about the technology landscape in a fast-growing market.
“What initially drew me to Rackspace was their focus on helping their community. I could apply for jobs of all kinds, but I chose to work for a place that I recognized truly cares for others. Once I became an intern, I learned even more about all their philanthropic efforts, so when a full-time position became available, it was a no brainer,” said Fleming. “We all want to work somewhere where we can help make a difference and that is Rackspace.”
And ultimately, that’s what Rackspace Technology strives to deliver for all Rackers — a workplace where every Racker is a valued member of a winning team on an inspiring mission.
We’re proud to add the “Top Workplace for The Next Generation of Talent” to our mantel. Learn more about how our culture empowers our Rackers to deliver a Fanatical Customer Experience!
