Purpose-driven volunteering
Rack Gives Back is our flagship volunteer program, empowering Rackers to make a meaningful impact in theircommunities. Every Racker receives a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer time off (VTO) annually, enabling them to support local nonprofits, participate in global service events and contribute to causes that align with their passions.
In the past year alone, Rackers volunteered over 22,000 hours, raised more than $151,000 and participated in 25 events around the globe. From fighting food insecurity and promoting sustainability to advocating for mental health, Rackers continue to show up with heart, purpose and the drive to make a difference.

Empowering Students Through STEM
The Rackspace Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded entirely by Rackers and dedicated to building stronger communities through education — especially in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
We believe every student deserves access to high-quality learning experiences that inspire curiosity and unlock potential. That’s why we invest in programs that meet basic needs while also opening doors to mentorship, creativity and hands-on STEM learning.
With over $8 million raised and more than 10,000 students impacted, the Rackspace Foundation takes a community-based, holistic approach to giving. We partner with local and global organizations to provide donation matching, skills-based volunteerism and strategic support where it’s needed most. By supporting STEM in our communities, we help students discover their passions, build confidence and explore possibilities.
Together, we fuel innovation by investing in the next generation of thinkers and doers.
Rackspace Technology® is a proud signatory to the UK Armed Forces Covenant, a promise by the British nation to ensure that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families are treated fairly. We commit to support UK military personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families. We are pleased to employ members of the military community, recognising the enormous contribution they make to our company and to the country. We also proudly hold the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award.
We have a long-standing tradition of honouring our veterans on a global scale, through our own RackVET Racker Resource Group (RRG). It is focused on supporting our military veterans and reservists and family members. We seek to support the community through our flexible human resource (HR) policies for reservists and military spouses and partners. We actively promote volunteering and each year. Also, we proudly participate in the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
