Blockchain is one of those technologies that’s struggled to find a foothold in modern IT architecture. Sometimes, it feels like a solution in search of a problem. With the recent challenges introduced to supply chains by the COVID-19 virus, we may have found the ideal problem for blockchain to solve. Creating visibility into the supply chain is an excellent use of blockchain. COVID-19 could be the catalyst to make this happen, as visibility into the entire supply chain comes under increasing scrutiny.
