Requests to Rackspace for Customer Data
Rackspace US, Inc. (Rackspace Technology) is a provider of IT Hosting services, and as such, we do not manage the data, content or applications hosted from our infrastructure. Our customers are in care, custody and control over the data stored on the hosted system. Furthermore, many of Rackspace Technology’s customers are Resellers of Rackspace Technology services, and therefore, it is possible that the information you are seeking belongs to the customer of our customer.
Rackspace Technology accepts subpoenas sent by email, fax, mail and hand-delivery.

Rackspace Technology will only accept a civil subpoena from a court of competent jurisdiction, and properly served through our registered agent.
In accordance with the confidentiality provision within our Terms and Conditions, Rackspace will notify its customers of any request for their confidential information unless prohibited by law or pursuant to a Court Order.
Please include as much detail as possible about the subscriber information you are seeking. The following are examples of items required by Rackspace to properly identify the customer:
- IP address(es)
- Domain/Website information
- Or any combinations of the above
Rackspace Technology records are authenticated pursuant to law, and should not require the testimony of a records custodian. If a special form of certification is required, please attach it to your records request.
As provided by law, Rackspace Technology may seek reimbursement for costs in responding to requests for information. We may also charge additional fees for costs incurred, or objecting to non-standard or burdensome requests.
