SDKs for Java, Ruby, Python, Node.js, PHP, and Microsoft.NET

Overview

Rackspace has language-specific SDKs (software development kits) for our Cloud Products. Some of these instructions use the git version control system. The documentation for each SDK assumes that you have git installed and configured on your local machine. For more information on git please check out git's website for *nix or msysgit for Windows. The most current versions of all SDKs can be found in the SDK Guide: developer.rackspace.com/#home-sdks.

In addition to the links to the SDKs, there are reference materials, sample code, and tips on use on each language's page.

Downloading SDKs

To download, follow the instructions on each SDK's page. Run "git clone" with the URL of the repository as an argument. The clone operation downloads the files to your current directory, so it's usually a good idea to make an empty directory to hold the files first.
