This short video shows how to create a new server from a saved image.
When you take an image of a Cloud Server, you make an exact replica of the Cloud Server that is then stored in Cloud Files. This image can be used to create a new Cloud Server or to rebuild an existing Cloud Server.
Images are helpful when attempting to rapidly deploy multiple servers that share a common configuration or for creating a point in time restore point.
Note: Cloud Server images are stored in Cloud Files and will incur the standard storage fees associated with the service. Information on this cost can be found on the Cloud Files Pricing Page.
