Managing Your Server 7 - Reset Your Server Password

NOTE: This article is written for our Classic Cloud Control Panel. A version of this article is also available for our New Cloud Control Panel.

  • An extremely important aspect of managing your server is controlling the (Linux) root or (Windows) Administrator account password.  You can always reset it through the Classic Cloud Control Panel.

Please Note:  Changing the server password also initiates a system reboot.  Make sure all your configuration changes on your machine have been saved before resetting your password, or they will not take effect.

  • You will know the password has been successfully reset when you see a blue bar at the top of your screen indicating the email address that the new password has been sent to, which is always that of the Primary Contact on the account.

Hi Guys,
I have been maintained my server your hosting. I want to install the Git Repository on my server. Could you please help me to do the Git Repo installation and configuration?

I'm not entirely certain what you're trying to do, honestly. If you want to install git, you can find a download on their web site that describes getting it set up. Otherwise you might contact our Support via phone or live chat so they can help.
