Note: If you are using an older version of the  Cyberduck, or using the API through command-line interface, you may be asked to enter a value known as the Tenant:ID. This value is simply your account number.

  • Open the Cyberduck client.
  • You may have a pre-configured bookmark for Rackspace Cloud, or you may need to initiate a new connection.
  • Click on the  icon to start a new connection and select Rackspace Cloud Files from the drop-down list of protocols.

  • Enter your Rackspace Cloud username and paste the API key into the password field.

  • When complete, select Login. Once logged in, you'll be able to view, share, and add content through the Cyberduck interface.
  • Before uploading any files or folders, make sure your account contains at least one folder (container) in the region where your files should be stored.
  • You can create a folder with the New Folder command in the File menu. Without an existing folder as a guide, Cyberduck will choose a default region on its own when performing bulk uploads.
