Re: Setting up Android
You may want to make sure that you can log in with the credentials on the web mail for that account.
If it is an exchange account also make sure that it is not locked and there is an active sync license associated with it.
Also during set up make sure that the device is on carrier signal if available.
Should you need further assistance please feel free to contact us any time at 888.850.3994!!!!
i have same problem , keep
i checked every thing is fine. it work as pop3 or imap
but not working as exchange email.
Hello Riz,
The most common cause of that is the ActiveSync not yet assigned to the particular Exchange username. You can verify that mobile license is assigned in the Mobile Messaging section of the admin control panel. If you need any further assistance with that feel free to contact us at any time by chat or phone at 888.850.3994!
Exchange active sync
1. We would need you to verify you can log into the Outlook Web Access(OWA) first by visiting the URL of https://apps.rackspace.com/.
Log in with your full e-mail address & mailbox password to verify the mailbox is unlocked & the password credentials are correct.
2. We would want to verify the Active sync license is allocated to your mailbox from the mobile messaging section of the Admin control panel.
Once those two items have been verified you should be able to configure the Exchange mailbox using Active sync on the Android device.
If you continue to experience activation issues we will want to attempt to replicate the failed activation issues from our end on a test Android device. We will require that you call into our 24/7 support line at 1-888-850-3994 if you wish for us to attempt to replicate as the Exchange mailbox in question.
