Rackspace Private Cloud Documentation

Rackspace Private Cloud Software allows you to install an OpenStack private cloud, configured as recommended by Rackspace OpenStack specialists.

Rackspace Private Cloud Software uses Ansible to create an OpenStack cluster on Ubuntu Linux. The installation process provides a familiar approach for Linux system administrators, and the environment can be updated easily without downloading and installing a new ISO.

The current version is Rackspace Private Cloud v9 Software, based on OpenStack Icehouse (Release Notes)

To get started building a private cloud with the Rackspace tools, refer to the Rackspace Private Cloud Installation Guide.

Additional documentation for Rackspace Private Cloud is available here.
