In the architecture of Performance Cloud Servers, you may change the size of your data storage space in one of two ways:
You can add to the available data storage space of your Performance server by adding Cloud Block Storage volumes. Cloud Block Storage volumes come in two types: SATA for standard performance and SSD for high performance. For more information about Cloud Block Storage, see Create and Attach a Cloud Block Storage Volume.
You can increase or decrease the size of Performance server, which will change the amount of RAM, vCPUs, data disk, and network throughput. To do this, you must create a new server by performing the following steps:
