(NASDAQ:CA), today announced Rackspace® Hosting (NYSE:RAX), the world’s leader in the hosting and cloud computing industry is standardizing on Nimsoft to offer enhanced infrastructure and application solutions to its managed hosting customers and to monitor its internal IT and cloud infrastructures. The relationship will allow Rackspace to extend its Managed Hosting offerings to include more in-depth operating system and application monitoring. With the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution, Rackspace can provide a more robust monitoring service to its Managed Hosting customers around the performance and availability of business applications hosted with Rackspace.

The Rackspace Deployment
Rackspace is one of more than 300 service providers utilizing the industry-leading Nimsoft Monitoring Solution. This relationship allows Rackspace managed hosting customers to benefit from tiered levels of monitoring according to their business needs. NMS will be deployed across more than 60,000 Windows and Linux systems. All Rackspace managed hosting customers will be provided with a standard level of monitoring which alerts and reports on critical system health indicators. These customers will be able to easily upgrade to more comprehensive levels of monitoring that will include databases and applications as well as other infrastructure services.
