Karl Pichler — SVP, Chief Financial Officer
Karl Pichler is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all financial management activities, including corporate resource allocation, statutory and SEC reporting, management accounting, investor relations, corporate financing, internal audit, and other Corporate Services functions.
Prior to joining Rackspace in 2005, Pichler served as Vice President of the North American Middle Market Advisory Practice at Stern Stewart & Co. in New York, specializing in management, valuation, and incentive applications of economic profit under its trademarked name of EVA. Early in his career, Pichler was a research fellow at the Institute for Financial Management at the University of Bern in Switzerland and worked as a business analyst at Swiss Bank Corporation.
Pichler is a CFA Charterholder and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Bern, Switzerland, receiving a Licentiate Rerum Politicarum in Business Administration and Economics.
