About the Speakers
Gregg Stout
Gregg joined Rackspace in November of 2000 and has held a wide variety of roles in the company to include IT, Customer Care, Corporate Security,
and currently as a Sales Engineer. Gregg is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is pursuing a degree in Information
Security and Assurance. Gregg was a leading role in Rackspace's listing on Visa's global list of PCI Compliant Level 1 Service Providers. Gregg
has participated in hundreds of successful audit and assessment engagements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, DIACAP, FISMA, and SAS 70 Type II. Gregg's
current role as a Sales Engineer is focused on working with customers to architect solutions to help meet their security requirements.
Grant Herbon
A Racker since 2004, Grant currently manages a Product Development team responsible for Operating Systems, Applications and Security with a heavy
focus on enabling compliance. Prior to joining Rackspace, Grant spent 8 years in enterprise software development with several start-ups in Dallas,
TX. Grant has a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova
University. He also served as an Artilleryman in support of Operation Desert Storm.
Tim Schulz
Tim Schulz is Senior Manager of Product at e-commerce startup Magento, where he leads several business units in the US and Europe. He is also
co-Founder and Editor of TrendSlate.com, a tech blog covering startups and venture capital in Southern California. Prior to joining Magento,
Tim was Senior Manager of Product Strategy at MySpace and a Product Manager within MySpace International where he worked to grow MySpace's products
and brand across Europe, Asia and South America. Before joining MySpace, Tim was a consultant at Sapient within their internet and E-commerce
strategy practice.
