Our CTO, Bill Boebel, is pretty damn busy. He runs from meeting to meeting with a laptop, a notepad, pens and his BlackBerry. Yet, somehow, his thoughts are rarely all in one place (shocking). So for Bill, and the millions of other super-busy people, we’ve created Notes!
Notes is a new app now included with our Rackspace Webmail client. It’s the perfect place to store a new idea, a meeting summary or just some quick thoughts. Combine Notes with our Webmail, Calendar, Tasks and Contacts and you have a full-featured, productivity suite!
Notes is easy to find and even easier to use. Rackspace Email customers can log-in to their Webmail account and find Notes under the Notes tab. A welcome message and instructions await you there…
Using Notes with Sync for BlackBerry. Now it gets Interesting…
One of the best features of our new Notes app is actually not found in Notes at all. It’s part of our Sync for BlackBerry tool; which allows Bill to create, edit and access Webmail Notes, while he’s on the go, from his mobile. Here’s how it works:

Needing to use Beta entry to webmail from my home laptop. Windermere tech support told me you were working on fixing login in. When will I be able to use the WRE icon to login in?
This feature looks promising! Are there any plans to sync it with other applications or phones (Outlook Notes, OneNote, Windows Mobile, etc.)?
I would like to see this feature export to csv in the future.

Hey Nick — Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the new design. The good news is that Notes is supported right now with both Sync for BlackBerry and Sync for Outlook. As we develop more sync plug-ins we will be able to support other platforms. Hey Richard & Angel — Good news-This is already supported! Sync for Outlook already supports this.
It would be helpful to add a way to organize notes into folders…

What about working with an IPhone. Most of the people in our office communicate with IPhones. I don’t have one so I’m not sure how/if the whole syncing process goes.

FOr us Mac People when are you going to let us import our Calendar using Ical format? Changing it to a cvs is a pin if you are already on a Mac

Love the webclient service. Sync works with iphone, blackberry, windows phones and Outlook. Would love to see a search function in calendar, task and notes on the Rackspace Email Webclient.
Great product!!! You guy’s offer an invaluable service keeping us sync up to all the different types of hardware and software available. I am sure it is a difficult process.
