Software 'bill of rights' expanded due to SaaS growth
July 10th, 2009 - The growth of Software as a Service (SaaS) has prompted Forrester Research to expand its "Enterprise Software Licensee's Bill of Rights".
According to PCWorld.com, the bill exists as a list of privileges that the research firm believes customers should be entitled to throughout the "software selection, implementation and production" process.
And as SaaS deployments have become more and more popular with enterprises, Forrester has added 11 new entries to the bill.

June 29th, 2009 - Research from IT firm IDC has revealed that more and more firms in the Asia-Pacific region are mirroring the industries from other regions like the UK and Europe by turning to software-as-a-service (SaaS) in order to prosper during the difficult economic climate.
According to Computerworld, the senior market analyst at IDC's AP Enterprise Applications Research team, Shiela Lam, said: "Companies in the region are more keen with the SaaS subscription model as they cope with the increasing IT budget constraints.

Gartner claims cloud computing still pioneering

Gartner survey reveals 90% of organisations set to grow SaaS
