Cloud Load Balancers distribute workloads across two or more servers, network links, or other resources to maximize throughput, minimize response time, and avoid overload.
Choose the servers you want to load balance - Cloud Servers, Cloud Databases, servers in your data centers, or other servers to which you have access. You can add, remove, or customize your load balancers at any time to scale websites and applications based on your business demands.
Each load balancer is assigned an IP address that remains static while the load balancer is in use.
Offloads and redirects work from the servers to the load balancer.
One load balancer is all you need to guarantee high availability.
Pricing for instances with and without SSL termination are billed in one-minute increments, so you never pay for more than you use.
Average use over an hour is calculated in 5-minute intervals, and billed at $0.015 per hour, per connection.
Incoming bandwidth is free. Outgoing bandwidth starts at $0.12/GB.

“With Cloud Load Balancers, we get a failover solution without a lot of effort and expense. Our load balancer really saves us in terms of the number of machines that we have to manage - and it's all based on technology I know is solid. Better quality software, more redundancy, less work on our end, a solution we and our customers can depend on, all for a low cost? It was an easy choice for us.”

With Cloud Load Balancers, we know we have a reliable platform, and it's a big cost savings, too. The load balancers are definitely handling a lot - we've had no problems, and they're scaling beyond what we can imagine.”
