Zapproved! SaaS Startup Selects Solutions from Mosso | The Rackspace Cloud
Zapproved, an online productivity and communication tool that eliminates communication confusion by putting the conversation all in one transparent location, has joined the Rackspace Cloud, using multiple Rackspace Cloud Products!
Zapproved’s web front-end and database cluster resides on Cloud Sites to manage the massive traffic spikes known to fast-growth websites, while a mail server sends out their application email on Cloud Servers, allowing full-customization, pay-by-the-hour usage, and full root access. Very soon, Zapproved plans to rely on Cloud Files to offload static content. Soon they’ll be leveraging our full suite of cloud offerings!
The worry-free, hands-free scalability offered by Cloud Sites has allowed Zapproved to promote their SaaS offering widely without having to study, predict, and manage the traffic and servers needed to handle their growing popularity. Even with blog coverage on TechCrunch, Mashable, and ReadWriteWeb, the site stayed strong without missing a beat. “It’s been great to not worry about whether or not these spikes would take down the site,” said Neville. “Working with the Mosso team has allowed us to focus on developing our business and not worry about what’s happening with the site.”
