2

Are you using cloud computing and have a super technical question? One of those questions that you wish an expert could just answer for you? Now is the chance to ask. We are getting Harper Reed (@harper), Robert Collazo (@rcollazo) and Major Hayden (@rackerhacker) together in one room on January 13th to talk tech. This might get crazy!

Submit your questions now to podcast@rackspacecloud.com. The discussion will not be live but will be published within 1 week of January 13th.  Stay tuned.

So who are these guys we call experts? Here’s their bios:

Robert Collazo

Robert works for the Rackspace Cloud currently as the Manager of Professional Services. He started his career here as a Linux systems administrator working under Rackspace Cloud founder Jonathan Bryce (when we were called Mosso).  He worked his way to Manager of Operations for the Cloud Sites product where he managed a team of dedicated Linux and Windows administrators.  Robert has been with Rackspace since May of 2007 and to date, has been the only Cloud team member to win the coveted Straightjacket.

Harper Reed

Harper, former CTO of Threadless, joined The Rackspace Cloud in September 2009.   He’s working on cool technology for our customers, evangelizing The Rackspace Cloud, and serving as an all around technical expert to help customers on board The Rackspace Cloud.  Harper has a wealth of experience in technology and business development as one of the first employees at the trendy and highly successful start up Threadless (and a long-term loved Rackspace customer). As a matter of fact, this is how we met him. He was an amazing customer of both our Cloud and Dedicated businesses, always helping us get better by providing critical feedback.

Major Hayden – aka Racker Hacker

Major is a Linux engineer, DBA, developer working as a system administrator for Slicehost. He is passionate about technology and helping customers. He is an avid blogger and his posts contain resources and information about servers, networking, and general technical discussions. He says “It’s my way of giving back to all of those who have taught me so much. I sincerely hope that it helps you along your way to understanding more about technology.”
