TeamSnap Supports Over 40,000 Teams with the Power of the Cloud

TeamSnap[2], Rackspace Cloud customer, helps you with all that coordination including online registration, game scheduling, and communication tools. They use Cloud Servers for their application, database, and other servers, Cloud Files to store all user-uploaded assets, and Cloud Load Balancers to distribute traffic to their production and staging environments.

As traffic increases, they can easily and quickly spin up more Cloud Servers and can utilize the power of the internal network to send data to and from Cloud Files without incurring bandwidth charges. In addition, they actively leverage the power of the CDN technology to distribute all of their static assets like user uploaded images.

TeamSnap currently supports over 40,000 teams and groups in over 110 countries and is growing quickly.
