Sometimes, cultivating inspiration requires bringing together some of the industry’s most talented techies and then giving them a tight deadline to come up with a plan.
Asset monitoring and protection solutions are becoming critical to corporations and industries globally. One member of the Rackspace Startup Program has been developing hardware and cloud software designed to manage and protect business assets. Austin-based Nuve focuses on the emerging field of asset management and fraud prevention. The company has developed a new technology based on sensors, a cloud-based platform and a mobile application that allows its customers to better protect, control and monitor their property.

March brings us International Women’s Day on the 8th, with the theme of “Inspiring Change.” Inventor Alexander Graham Bell, artist Michelangelo, illusionist Harry Houdini and the world’s favorite soft drink, Coca Cola were all born in March. Naruby Schlenker is a co-founder of Ordoro, a web application that helps small- and medium-sized ecommerce retailers manage their orders, inventory and shipping. Founded in 2010, Ordoro streamlines everything that happens after a shopper checks out on an online retailer’s website, including inventory management, drop shipping, supplier integration and the creation and printing of packing lists and shipping labels.
Helping people learn more in less time is the mission behind Knowji, a passionate education technology (EdTech) company and a member of the Rackspace Startup Program that strives to empower people through education, focusing specifically on language acquisition.

The company’s mission is to bring arcade-style games to mobile devices the right way with HD cartoon graphics and great touch controls.
