“Our nation’s economic recovery is picking up speed, and we are beginning to see stronger job growth” said Thomas J. Donohue, President and CEO of US Chamber of Commerce in his welcoming speech at
America’s Small Business Summit held in Washington DC and hosted by the
US Chamber of Commerce. And the Space Cowboys from the
Rackspace Startup Program were there to cover the event from the Rally on Capitol Hill to T
he Latino Coalition’s awards banquet in the hallways of the Senate. Startup businesses from all over the nation were in attendance to learn about putting Americans back to work, opening up new export markets, government regulations on business, and the
US Chambers Small Business Nation resource website for startups. Senators and Representatives took the time to speak to us about important business decisions that affect startups around the country. Big business was present at the summit with sponsors and vendors including American Airlines, Sam’s Club, Aflac, FedEx and Facebook.
