Even Rackspace has World Cup fever. The South African Tourism website, which was used as a pivotal tool for World Cup fans, is being hosted by Rackspace Hosting. Considered a critical component of the 2010 World Cup event, the website saw the number of unique visitors sky-rocket following site reconstruction – more than 250,000 a month since June 2009. This was an increase of more than 600%! The South African Tourism website provides a variety of information for soccer fans – Best of South Africa, Traveler, Business Tourism, Adventure & Sport, Wildlife & Safari, Culture and Heritage, Natural & Scenic and Entertainment & Leisure.
