Rackspace stormed Cloud Expo in Santa Clara, Calif. this week to spread the message of the open cloud. From a riveting keynote from CTO John Engates and numerous Racker-led sessions, to two expo floor booths promising an immersive open cloud experience; Rackspace turned Cloud Expo into the Open Cloud Expo.
Rackspace CTO John Engates took the keynote stage Tuesday at Cloud Expo in Santa Clara, Calif. In his talk, “An Open Cloud Discussion,” Engates talked about the explosion in the number of connected devices; how consumers are pulling the enterprise into the cloud; and how the open cloud will be the platform upon which modern business models are built.
The thread of cloud has become woven into the fabric of humanity. Think about it; as the world moves to the cloud, everything becomes intertwined.
Cloud Expo kicks off today at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. The 11th International Cloud Expo brings together some of the brightest minds in the cloud and there will be a number of Rackers there to discuss the power of the open cloud during a thought-provoking keynote presentation and other sessions. Rackers will also be on-hand at the Rackspace booths on the expo show floor.
