Creating a Custom Group
SharePoint comes with three groups: Owners, Members, Visitors. Each group is connected with a permission level. Instead of giving access to each individual users, best practices suggests using groups to control access. By doing so, you can give an entire team the same access rights without manually adjusting permissions for each team member. Creating a Custom Permission Level
Our Hosted SharePoint includes four preloaded permission levels: Full Control, Design, Contribute, and Read. However, your business may need a permission level that falls outside of the preloaded samples or combines elements of a few of the preloaded samples.
