For four years now, the San Antonio Area Foundation[1] has been fortunate to partner with Rackspace to present the annual Nonprofit Technology Summit[2].

Scheduled this year for Friday, September 27 at Rackspace’s Castle headquarters, this event is part of the ongoing effort by the Area Foundation’s Nonprofit Support Services department to help nonprofit organizations gain insight on best practices from the business world.  Technology is one of the operational areas in which nonprofits often have inadequate resources, so they appreciate Rackspace helping them make the most of what they have in order to address a wide variety of needs in the community.

Our community is fortunate to have a cloud computing and Internet hosting leader like Rackspace doing so much to share insight and knowledge on technology and successful business practices.

This year’s summit, themed “How to Tell Your Story,” will provide practical knowledge on reaching the public and getting messages out through wise use of technology.  Rackspace’s support has helped make possible a powerful program, which includes:

Other partners in the Nonprofit Technology Summit are 3 Day Startup, a company that guides entrepreneurs through the business start-up process; and the 80/20 Foundation, which was started by Rackspace co-founder and Chairman Graham Weston.

Cost to attend the Nonprofit Technology Summit is $50 per person.
