Hmmm. Not wanting to use those cdn urls … Major new feature … A tantalizingly teasing lone “c” left there (methinks on purpose) … Could it possibly be …

CDATA SUPPORT??

Please oh please let it be so.

Ahem … That’s embarrassing … I meant CNAME support.

Hello,

I have just tried the CNAMEs and they are working :)
Maybe it is time to bring CDN back to rackspace.

Will you be providing a similar way to setup static websites like Amazon does with S3? So we can choose the root document and error document?

Thanks,
Scott

You guessed it. CNAMEs are here!

Scott- Sorry I missed your question. While we know that CNAMEs enable a better website experience for our objects, we do not have plans to go all the way to hosting full static-only sites. At this time, we feel that our partners can do this much better than us, and we have chosen to focus on our core competency of object storage and delivery and stay out of the website hosting game (at least via Cloud Files).
