Rackspace Startup Program Global Startup Event Guide: July 2014

In July, 2014 FIFA World Cup soccer action will continue in Brazil, with the finals taking place on Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m. CDT. The match will be broadcast live on ABC from Estádio Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro. Circus showman PT Barnum, Ernie from Sesame Street and Princess Diana were all born in July. The first zeppelin flight took place this month in 1900. NASA was established in 1958. And Apollo 11 made its voyage to the moon in 1969. In the words of astronaut Neil Armstrong, “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon. July 1969 AD. We came in peace for all mankind.”
