Rackspace Startup Program Global Startup Event Guide: April 2014

April brings us International Children’s Book Day, celebrated on Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday on the 2nd. Webster’s Dictionary was first published this month in 1828. Educator Booker T. Washington, aviator Wilbur Wright and seismologist Charles Richter were all born in April. The MP3 audio format was patented in Germany this month in 1989. On April 10, “Encourage a Young Writer Day” is celebrated followed by “Tell a Story Day” on the 27th. And, in the words of Mark Twain, “The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year.”

Within the startup movement, there are plenty of events happening globally in April 2014. The Rackspace Startup Program is here to keep you up to date with valuable information on events and happenings inside the global startup community.
