We want our partners to be experts on our solutions and fully understand the benefits of the Rackspace Partner Program. To do that, we’re launching the Rackspace Partner Academy’s eLearning platform, a powerful training tool that will arm partners with the knowledge to provide their customers with a full suite of open cloud solutions.
The Rackspace Partner Academy’s eLearning platform, available via the Partner Portal, gives our partners on-demand courses where they can bone up on the partner program and on Rackspace products and services. Rackspace is one of the only channel programs in the cloud industry to offer this type of training.
This intuitive eLearning platform offers our partner community in-depth, on-demand training on program specifics such as tier structure, compensation, partner portal and deal registration; how to position and sell the full suite of Rackspace hosting services, including traditional managed hosting, open cloud and SharePoint®, to name a few; and specific reseller training around cloud and email control panels. Overall we’re offering more than 30 on-demand lessons across eight different courses.
The eLearning platform is from NetExam, the only channel partner specific learning management systems vendor. The platform lets programs such as ours deliver, manage, track and report sales and technical training for our distributed partner ecosystem.
Training is a big part of enablement for our partners and we feel it is integral to partner development and continued growth in the cloud. As we move into 2013, training will continue to be an important element for partners to maintain their status levels within the partner program.
