Rackspace At TechEd: Come See Our Experts…And Build A Well

Rackspace and our team of Microsoft experts are pumped for Microsoft TechEd North America 2012, an event that’s sure to bring together the best and brightest in the industry and showcase the changing technology tide.

As a service leader in cloud and hosting, we have major activities planned for TechEd (June 11 to June 14 in Orlando) including speaking engagements, and book signings. We’re also offering attendees a chance to help us build a well that will provide safe drinking water to a developing nation through charity: water.

Throughout TechEd our booth will be rocking with our Microsoft thought leaders, so you can meet with them face-to-face, pick their brains and leverage their expertise. Get tips and demos from the professionals, instead of struggling to figure issues out on your own.

Rackspace’s own Jennifer Mason, a SharePoint consultant and MVP, will be on hand signing copies of her latest book “Microsoft SharePoint 2010: Creating and Implementing Real-World Projects.” The book dives into practical applications of SharePoint projects and uses real world examples to highlight how businesses can get the most out of their SharePoint solutions. Jennifer recently joined Rackspace in the acquisition of SharePoint911, and we are excited to have her and the rest of the SharePoint911 team on board.

You probably still have the complete collection of TechEd 2011 stress balls rolling around your house, not to mention the other TechEd schwag that cluttered your carry-on, so instead of hauling home another giveaway, let’s do something to make a difference. Stop by the Rackspace booth and take a quick survey — it’s only three questions, we promise — and we will donate $5 to charity: water, a non-profit organization that provides clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. We want to build an entire well during TechEd. If we raise $5,000, we can build a well that will serve clean, safe drinking water for 250 people. It’s a big goal, so we will need your help. Let’s work together to make an impact.

Along with being able to contribute to an awesome cause, you can also pop by our booth and visit with a number of our Microsoft professionals. They’ll be on hand for in-booth demos to give attendees a hands-on look at some of our Microsoft offerings, and they’ll drill down into Rackspace’s full portfolio of Microsoft-focused products and services, all backed by our Fanatical Support, including our cloud and dedicated SQL 2012 (Denali) offerings; .Net apps on Rackspace Cloud Sites and on Windows Servers in the cloud; our SharePoint services and configurations; our hosted and dedicated Exchange offerings; and more.

So come check us out at booth 1709 and get to know us and help an incredibly worthy cause. We’re really looking forward to it.
