At OpenStack Summit Hong Kong[1], Rackspace and MIT took the keynote stage to discuss how OpenStack is being used in academia and how it is powering sophisticated research projects.

Jonathan Proulx, senior technical architect in MIT’s Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), highlighted how researches use OpenStack[2] for dozens of research projects at the university. Following Proulx, Rackspace Director of Training and Certification Tony Campbell outlined how OpenStack is impacting the academic world[3] and how Rackspace Training for OpenStack brings hands-on OpenStack seminars to colleges and universities.
