Open Compute Summit 2012: A Day In The Life [Video]

This week, the Open Compute Summit 2012 stormed The Castle, Rackspace’s San Antonio headquarters.

More than 500 technologists – by some estimates as many as 1,000 – attended the two-day event to learn about, work on and define the path for open computing and the Open Compute Project. With an impressive roster of  speakers, announcements, demonstrations, booths and networking opportunities, the Open Compute Summit 2012, the third such summit, has become a marquee open computing events.

In the fourth installment of his “Day In The Life” series, Rackspace producer and video storyteller Dave Sims captured it all as Rackspace welcomed the Open Compute Summit to San Antonio. The video was shot and edited in a single day, Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
