Integrating Stripe With Your Rails App

In my previous post, I talked about how Stripe makes accepting online payments incredibly easy and showed how my friend Carrie incorporated it into her online cookie business. Well, a few popular bloggers linked to her site and business has exploded! Time to take her website to the next level and create an interactive Rails app to sell her cookies. Luckily, it is incredibly easy to integrate Stripe into her new web application.

In the video below, I walk through the steps to integrate Stripe into a Rails app. You’ll notice that I use a lot of code that you can find on Stripe’s website[1] that you can copy and paste into your application. Once you incorporate Stripe into your Rails app, you’ll be up and taking payments in no time.
