Typically, you’ll know it’s time for a change when workers complain about email performance or begin demand new features to keep up with the ever-increasing pace of business. Those complaints and demands are usually symptomatic of broader issues with email infrastructure and administration. The burden of data storage and email archiving is growing with the standardization of email as a preferred mode of business communication. Holding your email backup and archiving servers onsite might mean losing it all should a disaster occur. Further, if your archived email data isn’t indexed for easy search and retrieval, you could face a legal or regulatory nightmare if you’re unable to turnover email data in a timely manner.
