Getting More Women Involved In OpenStack

Technology is often a lopsided business. Studies show that just 12 percent of the professionals in engineering are women.

OpenStack is making great strides to invite and include women through internships, support, breakfasts and meetups and by encouraging them to get involved, contribute code and come to the Summit.

At OpenStack Summit Portland, Rackspace Videographer Jacob Forbis caught up with some of the women who are making OpenStack great and who are working to get more women involved.
