You may have seen tech influencer Robert Scoble trotting the globe lately rocking his Google Glass, but the Rackspace Startup Program has managed to nail him down for the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco from September 7 to September 11. Even better? We’re offering you a chance to pitch your startup to Scoble and a panel of judges for a chance to win $10,000 in cash!
Scoble is on a special mission to find the next big thing in wearable technology. If you have a wearable tech startup or app, we want to hear about it! This is your chance to tell the world. All you need to do is fill out this form with a description of your project and include a video demo. Entries must be received by September 4 and winners will be announced at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco on September 11. (See full submission details here.)
Six semi-finalists will be selected to demo their app or device in front of Scoble and a panel of judges at TechCrunch Disrupt 2013 in San Francisco. The panel includes Dave McClure of 500 Startups; Elias Bizannes of Startup Bus and Startup House; and Shel Israel of Forbes and Coauthor of Age of Context. To apply, you must provide both a written description and video of your wearable computing application or device.
Semi-finalists will be announced and notified on September 5. Those chosen will demo on September 11 and that demo will be live streamed in the Rackspace booth on the TechCrunch Disrupt expo floor (booth No. 75).
Have a cool startup that isn’t part of the wearable tech world? No problem. You can still meet Scoble and tell him about your business by filling out this form. We’ll be in touch if he wants to sit down with you and learn more in an exclusive video interview.
Think you have what it takes? Are you ready to tell Robert Scoble why your idea is about to revolutionize technology? Let’s hear it, and we hope to see you at Tech Crunch Disrupt in a few weeks.
