April brings us International Children’s Book Day, celebrated on Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday on the 2nd. Webster’s Dictionary was first published this month in 1828. Educator Booker T. Washington, aviator Wilbur Wright and seismologist Charles Richter were all born in April. The MP3 audio format was patented in Germany this month in 1989. It was truly a night that will be talked about long after SXSW is over.

There’s a certain rhyme and rhythm to making the most out of your ‘fest experience—and if you don’t have a clear strategy for success, you risk losing out on life-changing connections.
