This is a huge, exciting week for the SharePoint community. We have all joined together and gathered as one group in the heart of Sin City — Las Vegas — for the 2012 SharePoint Conference. Imagine 10,000 SharePoint enthusiasts all together in one place. The excitement has been high and the social media has been buzzing, especially as we started to trend in the No. 1 position during the keynote presentation. Microsoft’s SharePoint Conference 2012 has officially begun! Sunday night was the big expo hall opening reception at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.

At this year’s SharePoint Conference, which runs from November 12 through November 15 in Las Vegas, the Rackspace team plans to hit the ground running to help you get the most out of the experience. There will be 20 of us onsite at the conference to make sure we are your source for all things SharePoint!  Even if you aren’t able to make it to Vegas this year, you can still count on us to bring you information from the front lines through various posts, tweets and webcasts. Cloud Expo kicks off today at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. The 11th International Cloud Expo brings together some of the brightest minds in the cloud and there will be a number of Rackers there to discuss the power of the open cloud during a thought-provoking keynote presentation and other sessions. Rackers will also be on-hand at the Rackspace booths on the expo show floor.
