One of the most critical ways you can ensure this is to take a regular “image” of your Cloud Server. Today we offer you access to Scheduled Images for your next generation Cloud Servers.

Want to install Drupal and Joomla quickly and with fewer headaches? Well, you’re in luck. We have a new Drupal and Joomla installer that gives you a fast and simple way to launch new pages using Rackspace Cloud Sites.

Rackspace customers can now use the Brocade Vyatta vRouter, a software-based networking appliance, in the next generation open cloud.

When Rackspace launches a new cloud service globally, take note. As the open cloud company, Rackspace knows what customers need. Now Rackspace once again advances the state of cloud computing with networking services on demand, powered by the Brocade Vyatta vRouter.

You can now use Mailgun, the email automation engine we acquired in August, directly within the Cloud Control Panel. That’s right. It’s no fuss, no muss. There’s no separate account to sign up for or manage, and all Rackspace Cloud customers receive 50,000 emails per month absolutely free. If you want to send more than that, just add your credit card in the Mailgun control panel and start sending – it’s simple. And if you have questions about Mailgun, contact your regular Rackspace support team. If we can’t help you, we’ll escalate to the Mailgun team for you, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of two different support teams.

Rackspace Cloud Files users now have finer control over how to manage objects and containers with several exciting new API and Control Panel features that we rolled out this week.

You can now attach and detach networks from a live Cloud Server. You no longer need to create a snapshot of the server, and then build a new server from that image to attach or detach a network to/from a server.

You can now provision additional IPv4 addresses on your Cloud Servers in the next generation Rackspace Cloud. Until now, this capability was only available in our first generation cloud.

We take customer support pretty seriously around here. Our philosophy is to include super valuable and responsive support with all our offers. For example, when you’re a customer and find out you’re going on national TV to pitch your product, we’ll be there to help with architecting and operating the situation at no additional cost. This is clearly not the standard level of support in the cloud space where even the most basic support costs a lot more on top of core cloud costs. Starting today, we take this already high standard to a new level with the launch of Rackspace Developer Support, an extension of our Fanatical Support specifically for developers.
