Build Your Dreams On The Rackspace Cloud With Our Developer Discount

1

As developers, you’re busy building the next big thing. And we want to make that a little easier on your wallet.

Part of our commitment to developers is to give you the tools you need to create, hack and build awesome things; to launch the next killer app; or to turn your startup into a household name. To help, we’re offering a Developer Discount program in the US and UK that gives developers $300 in Rackspace Cloud credits over six months. You get complete access to all Rackspace Cloud services – Cloud Servers, Cloud Files – all of it! You can even sign up to gain early access to the new Cloud Queues service, based on OpenStack Marconi.

Using the discount is simple: Sign up for a new Rackspace Cloud account in the US or UK at developer.rackspace.com/devtrial and we’ll automatically credit your account $50 (£30 UK) per month for six months. That’s free cloud up to $50 – anything over $50, you’re responsible for. We can not apply this discount to existing Rackspace accounts at this time, but we are working on it.

The Developer Discount program makes it easy for you to chase something you feel passionate about and you need a place to build and deploy it. Regardless of what you make, or want to make, we celebrate and encourage your creativity.

Give vagrant-rackspace a spin, or try out rumm - a powerful little command line tool. Explore our open source tools and projects (check out github.com/rackspace and github.com/rackerlabs).

This Developer Discount is our way of thanking you for using the Rackspace Cloud to achieve your dreams and follow your passions. If you can dream it, you can build it and deploy it – and it’s on us.

The Developer Discount, coupled with our Developer Support and our involvement in open source projects and communities like OpenStack, is one more way we’re working to make developers’ lives easier.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback. Call us, email or join us on IRC (irc.freenode.net, #rackspace).
