Bringing Diversity to Engineering Teams: Code2040

Here’s an organization actually doing something about the lack of diversity on software engineering teams.

Code2040 matches high performing black and latino undergraduate and graduate software engineering students with with San Francisco/Silicon Valley based startups. Amy Quispe, from Carnegie Mellon University’s computer science program, and Laura Weidman Powers, executive director, of Code 2040, talk with me about what they are doing to increase diversity on engineering teams at startups.
