Attending the Great Place to Work Conference

There are two things I love: Rackspace culture[1] and speaking in front of groups (the bigger the better).
When I have a chance to combine these two areas, I’m truly playing to my strengths. This week at the National Great Place to Work conference[2], I’ll have the opportunity to do just that. I’ve given a lot of presentations over the years about our culture, employee engagement, and building a Strengths-based organization[3]. However, this will be my first speech at a national conference – and I’m honored to have the opportunity to speak.
Not only am I looking forward presenting at the conference, but I’m also excited to hear what other leaders in the cultural revolution have to say. In addition, I can’t wait to throw culture ideas around with Jamie Naughton from Zappos[4], a true culture guru.
My presentation is part of the “Leading People Through Challenging Times” panel on Thursday, May 7 at 3:15. If you’re at the conference, feel free to stop by or email me[5] if you’d like to meet up.
