Brett Elmendorf, HCI Designer – Working closely with his Economy-Sized brother, Brett too is developing some very cool stuff for the Rack.
Dirk Elmendorf, Rackspace Co-Founder - Our very own Economy-Sized Geek, Dirk is the mastermind behind some pretty cool projects at Rackspace. What you may ask? Tune in to the blog to find out…
John Engates, CTO- Known as “jengates” by colleagues (take a guess why), John has been doing Internet “stuff” for going on 17 years. The man is crazy-smart, most recently tackling the hot topic of Green and researching ways to make Rackspace more environmentally friendly.
Rob Jackson, Product Manager - Another long time Racker, Rob is largely responsible for the management of Rackspace’s new virtualization products. He’s got a pretty good jump shot too.
Frederick Mendler, VP of Fanatical Support – Managed - Known as ‘Suizo’ at the Rack (you have to ask him about it), Suizo is Fanatical Support personified! Learn from a master how to empower employees and treat customers right.
Antony Messerli, Product Engineer - Known as ‘Ant’ around Rackspace, he leads the technical side of all virtualization technologies at Rackspace, having previously overseen all server technologies for Rackspace. Ant loves taking apart stuff to learn how things work. Typically, new hardware is taken completely apart, with parts everywhere, before even being pulled out of the shipping box. He’s constantly told by his peers to pull the stuff out of the box before ripping it all apart.
Lew Moorman, Senior VP of Strategy and Corporate Development - Lew’s a thinker…charting Rackspace’s future, that being IT Hosting, Mosso, Mailtrust, and all of our long-term company direction.
Lanham Napier, President and CEO- The man, the myth and master of the cowbell! Our bald-is-beautiful leader would like to welcome you to the Rackspace blog. Let us know what you think and what you’d like to hear from us.
Tom Sands, Chief Network Engineer - A long time Racker, Tom is the Network master. Find out how simple he makes such a complicated job.
Chad Smykay, Storage Architect – Whether it’s shoe storage or data storage, Chad will let you know what’s going on in the world of DAS, SAN and NAS…(that’s storage in case you were wondering).
Troy Toman, VP of Operations and Customer Care - After successfully leading the Intensive segment, Troy has eyes on Data Center Management…find out here what we’re doing to improve our Data Centers.
Graham Weston, Chairman - The man who gave the all important gift of money to help Rackspace get off the ground, Graham is our visionary guy, most recently spearheading our purchase of a new office building, actually an old mall, and turning it into the ‘Castle’ we will rule from soon.
Matt Van Winkle, Fanatical Support Evangelist– Known by many here as ‘VW’ and frequently spotted in a baseball cap and boots, he currently serves our Monitoring Infrastructure team. He’s been around here a while, done a lot of different things and developed an obsession with our culture, Rackers and our customers. Since he “claims” to like writing too, we thought we’d put it all to good use – well to use anyway.
