View DNS Check
To view name server and MX record information for your domain, log into the control panel, and perform the following steps:
- Click the Support link at the top of the page.
- In the Troubleshoot section, click the DNS Check link.
- If you have multiple domains, select the appropriate domain name. Or, to change domains, click the change domain link.
- The domain's NS records and MX records will appear. NS (or Name Server) records indicate where the domain’s DNS hosting services are located. MX records indicate where the domain’s mail servers are located. If we are hosting your domain’s DNS, your NS records will be "DNS1.NAME-SERVICES.COM," "DNS2.NAME-SERVICES.COM," "DNS3.NAME-SERVICES.COM," etc. If we are hosting your domain’s email, your MX records will be "10 mx1.emailsrvr.com" and "20 mx2.emailsrvr.com."
