The Control Panel is the central location for setting up users, aliases, and group lists for your Rackspace Email service.
You can add, edit, delete, or disable mailboxes. Add or edit multiple mailboxes by uploading a CSV file. Editing a user’s mailbox also allows you to set up email forwarding and scheduled auto-reply vacation messages.
Add, edit, and delete aliases and group lists. An alias is an email address that has no mailbox but directs mail to one or more real mailboxes. For example, you could set up an alias for sales@yourdomain.com that points to the mailboxes of multiple users on your sales team. Group lists are similar to aliases except that they are primarily internal and you can control who can send to the list. For example, managers@yourdomain.com might only allow your leadership team as senders.
On demand restore and a variety of other tools allow you to fully manage mailboxes. If email is accidentally deleted, you can restore the mailbox from any of the last 14 nightly backups. You can set up Folder Cleanup to automatically purge trash or spam folders to conserve storage. Turn on Storage Notifications to alert your users and you when a mailbox is reaching its limit. If needed, you can also limit mailbox access to only allow POP, IMAP, or Webmail.
